Hi, Maisha!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question. I know you must be eager to visit the Happiest Place on Earth once the theme park gates open again!
It sounds like you’re already aware that theme park attendance will be limited to California residents
when Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park reopen on April 20, 2021. Additionally, a new reservation system will be in place because of capacity restrictions set forth by the state. Details about how this system will work haven’t been made public just yet, so we’re still waiting for more information about the process.
The capacity and residency restrictions in place for the theme parks are based on guidelines set by the State of California. Although I can’t predict when this advice will change, it’s a good idea to check
Disneyland.com and the
Disney Parks Blog frequently for up-to-date information about evolving health and safety policies, in addition to when and how Guests may be able to purchase tickets, make theme park reservations, and secure hotel accommodations. So many of us can’t wait to get back to the magic, myself included!
Please feel free to visit planDisney again with more questions, Maisha. I hope it won’t be long before you’re enjoying a pixie-dusted vacation with your favorite people!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
