Hey Howdy Hey Patrick and welcome to planDisney!
While there are so many benefits of staying onsite with Disney Resorts Collection, extra time in the parks is always at the top of the list! Disney has announced that extra time in the parks is a benefit that will continue through 2025 so let's break down some things we know already and what to look out for in the future.
The two opportunities to spend some extra time in the park as a Guest staying at a Disney Resort hotel come in 2 varieties.
Early Theme Park Entry is available for all Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel. This allows Guests in the parks 30 minutes before the parks open to the general public. Make sure to check out the park hours as your vacation nears so you can check on the
park hours during your stay so you know when to get to the parks!
The other option for extra time in the parks is with
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. This option is available for Guests staying at a
Disney Deluxe Resort,
Disney Deluxe Villa Resort or other qualifying resorts. This option will give Guests access to certain parks on certain days to spend 2 hours in the parks after they close. With this option, the parks will not be available every day, like Early Theme Park Entry, so make sure that if you are staying at a qualifying resort, you check on the
park hours to know when and where you will have access during your vacation.
One other option you want to keep in mind for 2025 is the new perk of Water Park access. On your date of arrival, Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel will enjoy complimentary access to the Water Parks. This will be huge as travel days can be tough and relaxation is called up for that day. There is no better way to start your vacation than poolside, even if it is in a Water Park! Check out the
Disney Parks Blog to learn more about this benefit for next year!
Many specifics with timing will be available when the park hours are established, so make sure to keep an eye on them as the dates grow closer to your Magical vacation. In the meantime, if you have any further questions, please feel free to let us know, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
