    Any idea if Disney will release packages for Dec 2026 soon? I also have a cruise booked for Jan 2026 that I want to reschedule to Dec 2026 but don't want to cancel until I can get the new one booked. Want to stay at Disney before and after.

    Welcome back to planDisney! It is great to see you again! I hope you got the American Girl Doll you were searching for!

    What a great question, Jana. I love the idea of a land and sea adventure that begins and ends with a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, especially during the holidays. Between all the holiday decorations and EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, it is a perfect time to visit. Historically, we have seen that December availability opens up by mid-summer, but currently, we are only seeing through October 2026, as I'm sure you know. Although I don't have any official news to share, I suspect we are nearing the reveal of those dates and may see them within the next month or so.

    I wish I had a more definitive answer for you, Jana, but I'll keep my fingers crossed that the announcement will come soon so that you can make the adjustments to your cruise dates. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
