Any idea if the dessert party for World of Color will be available when WOC opens in April? I am going with an older aunt and mother and standing for a long period of time is not really an option for us. Thank you!

Hi there, Aracely! Welcome back to planDisney! Fellow dessert party fan, I see! Truly, there's nothing better than an all-you-can-enjoy dessert table while waiting for the night to ignite with magic! I know I absolutely cannot wait to see the return of the nighttime spectaculars at the Disneyland Resort next month. The parks come to life in a whole new way once the sun goes down, and I know we have all missed watching World of Color retell classic Disney stories through water, lights, and projections.

While they have not yet announced the return of the World of Color Dessert Parties, I would keep a close eye on the Disney Parks Blog or follow along with the Disneyland Resort Instagram account. I can understand your aunt and mother not wanting to stand to wait and watch the show, and this is where news is sure to break first which would help with your planning. Previously, there were a limited number of benches in the Paradise Gardens Park viewing area for those that have difficulty standing for long periods of time. I would expect that you may need to arrive pretty early to grab a bench! In addition to World of Color, you will be able to catch the Disneyland Forever fireworks and the Main Street Electrical Parade celebrating its 50th anniversary at Disneyland Park! There's even an updated finale float featuring Moana and Encanto!

I know when you reached out to us before you were interested to know when Soarin' Over California would be making a return. Well, I have incredible news for you! As part of the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, Soarin' Over California is back for a limited run and you are arriving on the very last day of the festival! While you're in Disney California Adventure Park, grab a Sip and Savour Pass and feast your way through the park by visiting the 12 Festival Marketplaces for special menu items and drinks. You can even take a peek through the Disney Parks Blog Foodie Guide to EARmark a few of your favorites ahead of time.

Aracely, I can't wait for your Disneyland adventure to begin! Multi-generational visits are so incredibly special, and you'll want to make sure you snap a few photos with the Disney PhotoPass photographers to capture those memories. If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney

    Magic awaits,
