Is their any idea on when 2023 bookings will open as we are thinking about doing our honeymoon at Disney in February? Also any transportation to and from the Disney Cruise?

Hey there, Brad! Welcome to planDisney and let me offer you an exciting congratulations on your engagement! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with your honeymoon planning question!

My wife and I live it up on at least one adult-only vacation to Walt Disney World Resort each year, and I just love the grown-up side of The Most Magical Place on Earth. With fabulous dining options, endless recreation offerings, the Enchanting Extras Collection (my favorite Disney experiences!), fantastic pools, dessert and cocktail parties, and other amazing celebrations, Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect place to spend your practically perfect honeymoon. I couldn't be happier for you two, and I'm honored to answer your question today.

You can book a Walt Disney World Resort room-only reservation for your February 2023 honeymoon NOW! Room-only reservations can be made up to 499 days in advance by calling Disney Resort Hotel Reservations at (407) 939-1936. Since online bookings and vacation packages are usually released in the summer for the following year, I would recommend calling to lock down your room-only reservation now, especially if you have a specific Disney Resorts Collection Hotel in mind. Then, once the packages are released (probably this summer), you can call back to convert your reservation to a package that includes your tickets and any add-ons, such as Genie+ and Memory Maker

Speaking of add-ons, let's chat about adding on ground transportation to and from ... A Disney Cruise Line cruise?! This honeymoon sounds nothing short of pure magic. I recommend calling an oh-so-helpful Crew Member with Disney Vacations by Land and Sea at (800) 951-3532 to discuss booking a honeymoon that is the best of both magical worlds, including your ground transportation from/to the airport and to/from Walt Disney World Resort to Port Canaveral. You are on your way to the BEST. DAY. EVER!

Once your pixie-dusted honeymoon is booked and the countdown has begun, make your special occasion even more special by having flowers, balloons, celebration baskets, sweet treats, sparkling wine or any combination of those gifts sent to your room from Disney Floral & Gifts. I will never forget when I was surprised with gifts in my room after a day in the theme parks, and it was the perfect, magical and memorable way to top off the best Disney day.

Brad, happy booking and happy honeymooning, my friend! Once you are booked and the two of you have started your honeymoon countdown, please stop by any time with any planning questions you may have. We would love to help! You've got a friend in planDisney! Congratulations!

I hope to see ya real soon,

    Mandy
