Hiya Joanne,
It's great to see you back planning Disney at planDisney. During your early April visit to Walt Disney World Resort, you'll find there's something there that wasn't there before. In fact, quite a few "somethings" are opening or making a triumphant return that week.
TRON Lightcycle/Run opens on April 4. Guests with valid admission and a
theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park can enter the Grid with a Virtual Queue or
Individual Lightning Lane reservation. Also at Magic Kingdom Park, the beloved nighttime spectacular
Happily Ever After returns on April 3, the same return date as
EPCOT Forever.
Disney Enchantment fireworks dessert parties take place on select nights through March 31, 2023. I, too, am visiting Walt Disney World Resort in early April and hope to book a Happily Ever After fireworks dessert party. As such, I've been keeping an eye out for updates and noticed an important announcement appear
online this week. We have confirmation that Happily Ever After fireworks dessert parties will begin on April 3, 2023. Reservations will be available soon, though we don't know what date they will be available for booking. The announcement encourages us to check back soon for booking dates and details. I consider this a magical homework assignment and will be checking in daily; I encourage you to do the same.
While we wait for reservations to open, Joanne, let's dream big and consider the possibilities. Fireworks dessert parties offered for Disney Enchantment include Treats & Seats as well as a
Pre-Party and
After-Party. Discuss these options with your travel party now to determine preferences should similar offerings be available for Happily Ever After.
With or without a dessert party reservation, I plan on enjoying my absolute favorite nighttime spectacular with a sweet treat in hand.
Main Street Confectionery is my family's go-to spot for Mickey krispie treats in Magic Kingdom Park.
The Happily Ever After theme song reminds us that
every step we take brings a new hope, a new day. Let's ride that wave of hope together, Joanne.
See you on Main Street,
Jennifer
