Hello, Keri! I have magic hair that glows when I sing. Well, that's not true, but it's fun to say. Let's see how we can make your next trip full of the best days ever!
While I wish you could dine at Trattoria al Forno for breakfast with your daughter's 2 favorite princesses and the smolder of their princes, at this time, we are not sure when or if this offering will be available again. However, whether or not Disney makes the clock reverse and brings back what once was ours, I'm sure they're cooking up many surprises for the future so stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements! And don't worry, there are plenty of experiences that involve these fabulous princesses that will help your daughter live her dream, just like good ol' Hook Hand!
Since I'm a big fan of both my girl Ariel and "Punzo" (that's what my nephew called her when she was little), I'm going to count the ways you can currently (and may at certain times of the year) encounter these lovely gals.
- Check if Rapunzel is one of the Visiting Princesses at Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom Park. She is usually the Visiting Princess with Princess Tiana, but you'll want to check the sign outside to be sure!
- Make it a point to see the Festival of Fantasy Parade. There's a Snuggly Duckling-themed float with Maximus, Flynn Rider, and Rapunzel herself. In addition, there is a Little Mermaid-themed float with Ariel and Sebastian leading the charge!
- Catch Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire, which takes place at various times early on in the day in front of Cinderella Castle. Rapunzel and Flynn Rider join some other Disney favorites for this quick and joyful performance!
- Ride a clamshell on Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid. All your favorite characters from the movie are included and in case you're wondering, yes, you can dance in your seat during the "Under the Sea" section of the ride!
- Use the bathroom. Now, bear with me here. Does it make me weird to have a favorite bathroom at the resort? Probably, but I think you're going to want to at least pass by the Tangled-themed restrooms in between "it's a small world" and Haunted Mansion. Just look for Rapunzel's tower and the lanterns. This area is especially beautiful at night. Plus, there is usually a Rapunzel Lantern Disney PhotoPass opportunity here at night as well, so prepare that smolder! And yes, in case you were wondering, the inside of the bathrooms are themed to Tangled as well.
- While Princesses are subject to change, Ariel typically is part of the Princess lineup at Cinderella's Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. A delicious meal with some Princesses? Yes, please.
- Currently, you can meet Ariel from the live-action story in Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney Presents and Ariel from the classic animated story at her grotto in Magic Kingdom Park.
- You can often meet Princess Ariel and Prince Eric during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (offerings subject to change). They also typically appear in the parade at the Christmas Party (which usually runs during the day the last week of the year).
Keri, I think that about covers it. There may be a few more and these things can change, so always consult the My Disney Experience mobile app!
If you have any other questions,
I'm here for you.
I want to see the floating lights,
Matt
