Any idea when annual passports will go back for purchase to a DVC member?

    Hiya, Lynne!

As a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney.  It looks like you'll be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort in just over a month –– you must be getting so excited!  If you're planning to visit EPCOT during your stay, I suggest planning a little extra time to enjoy all the beautiful blooms and delicious dishes at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. The topiary displays are incredible! And if you need a break from all the festival excitement (and the crowds), be sure to head over to the EPCOT Member Lounge in the Imagination! Pavillion for an exclusive space for Disney Vacation Club Members to relax and recharge.  With complimentary beverages and a peaceful, air-conditioned location, it's the perfect spot to rest in the middle of a busy day!

When the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder program was reimagined in 2021, I was excited to hear that it would include an all-new pass tier exclusively for Disney Vacation Club Members and Florida Residents –– the Disney Sorcerer Pass.  Unfortunately, sales of new Annual Passes for most pass tiers were paused at the end of 2021, but Disney has indicated that this is a temporary hiatus.  While I don't have information about when Annual Pass purchasing might resume, I can tell you that the Disney Pixie Dust Pass is still available for Florida Residents to purchase, which gives me hope that we'll see all Annual Pass sales resume later this year.  For all the latest Annual Pass news and updates, be sure to keep an eye on the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder Page, as well as Disney Parks Blog.

If you've already purchased Walt Disney World theme park admission and Annual Pass sales resume before your upcoming visit, just know that you should have the option to upgrade that ticket to an Annual Pass, if you choose.  All you'll need to do is stop by any Walt Disney World Guest Relations location or theme park ticketing window to pay the difference in cost between your ticket and the new Annual Pass.  Just keep in mind that you must upgrade your ticket before entering a park on your last day of admission.  Once you've tapped your pass in on that last day, your ticket will no longer be eligible to upgrade.  Also, be sure that you've downloaded your new Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card in order to have access to the Disney Sorcerer Pass, as well as all your other Member Benefits during your visit.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Lynne.  If you think of more planning questions before your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I hope you'll visit us again –– we're always happy to help!
