Hey there, Ginger. Thanks for stopping by planDisney to ask your question.
I've been a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder for several years now and absolutely love the program. I know, especially after the year we've all had, that a lot of people are itching to get their hands on a new Walt Disney World Annual Pass. After all, who doesn't need a little Disney magic in their life right about now? At this time, however, I have received no official word as to when the program might return for purchase. Right now, Guests with existing Annual Passes are able to renew for next year if close to the expiration date. That tells me that the program is not going anywhere. I feel like Walt Disney World is just waiting until the capacity limitations can be lifted a little bit to allow for the influx of people who are wanting new Annual Passes. In my opinion, I think this will be towards the end of the summer but I don't know for sure. I've been keeping a close eye over on the
Disney Parks Blog for an announcement about the Annual Pass Program.
Until then, Ginger, if you'd like to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks you have two ticket options. You can purchase a standard theme park admission which will allow you entry into one Walt Disney World Theme Park per day. The other option is to upgrade to the park hopper which allows you to visit multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day. A perfect Disney day to me is
park hopping so that's what I always suggest. Keep in mind that with any theme park ticket purchase, you do also need to make park pass reservations to be able to visit. Park pass reservations are basically a virtual placeholder in line at the theme park of your choosing.
I'm sorry I don't have any updates to give you about the Annual Pass program yet, but I think it's coming soon. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back and ask me. I'm here to help!
