I'd like to take my 4-year old son to the Not So Scary Halloween Party in October. I've read that they give out treats to the kids. My son has severe peanut, tree nut and sesame seed allergies. What kind of treats are given out? Thanks

Hi Alyssa! Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is one of the highlighted special events every fall. Kids are dressed as their favorite character and the parade is one of my favorites with the Haunted Mansion ghosts coming to life.

There will be several trick or treat spots throughout the park. Cast members give out handfuls of candy to each guest and the lighting is often not great. You would not be able to see what is going into your son's bag until you returned to your resort or found a lit spot to sort it out. They give out a variety of different candy and it can change from year to year.

Your best bet is to stop at Guest Relations on Main Street and see if they have candy for those who have allergies. Since each allergy is different I cannot guarantee that they will have things that would benefit you but they do try to make sure all the guests can receive something.

It is a fun evening and I am sure you will find that your son will be talking about it for weeks to come!
