I'd like to wet my whistle at Oga's Cantina when I'm there on 11/6. There are no reservations available that day. I see that you can walk up and scan to get in line. Any other tips?

Hi Laura! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to send your planning question to us. I'm happy to help!

When you're visiting a galaxy far, far away, Oga's Cantina is the perfect place to relax and refuel! As you've discovered, it can also be extremely popular. I recommend continuing to check for Advanced Dining Reservations as often as you can before you arrive. There is a possibility reservations could open up in the event that other guests change their plans. You are correct that you can also try to join the walk-up list. You don't actually have to do this at the entrance of Oga's Cantina. If you download the Disneyland Mobile App before you arrive, you can try to join the walk-up list as long as you are within close proximity to the cantina. I suggest trying as you are walking into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

My tip for having the most success is to try to join the walk-up list earlier in the day or around the time fireworks are scheduled if you don't plan to watch them. If the cantina can accommodate you, walk-up guests are likely placed at high-top tables located in the standing-room area. Guests are limited to an experience lasting 45 minutes, so this might help increase your chances of visiting. My personal favorite drink is a Fuzzy Tauntaun if you're able to try it!

We can't wait for you to be our guest, and I hope you have a great visit filled with fun, drinks, and special memories! Please stop by planDisney again the next time you're ready to plan another visit. We would love to help!

    See ya real soon!
    Smiles,
    Lisa
