Steakhouse 71 at
Disney's Contemporary Resort is such a brilliant choice for breakfast. As we say in Liverpool, you'll get some tasty "scran" in that place. The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere, with lots of retro touches inspired by the early days of Walt Disney World. Oh, and I've just remembered that dreamy Floridian Eggs Benedict! Practically perfect in every way. A 10:35 AM reservation is a lovely sweet spot because you can enjoy a slower morning without missing any of the breakfast favorites.
You'll be happy to know that if your table isn't ready right at 10:35 AM and you're seated after 11:00 AM, you can still order from the breakfast menu. At Steakhouse 71, lunch service doesn't begin until noon, so even with a longer-than-expected wait, you won't miss out on those morning offerings. Just let your server know you're there for breakfast, and they'll take great care of you.
One little tip: if you're staying at a
Disney Resort hotel or planning to hop over to
Magic Kingdom Park afterward, consider using mobile check-in through the My Disney Experience app when you arrive at the restaurant. It lets the team know you're ready and often helps streamline the process. And once you've polished off breakfast, don't forget to pop over to the Grand Canyon Concourse and check out the beautiful 90-foot-tall mosaic mural by Mary Blair. It's one of my favorite pieces of art in Walt Disney World Resort.
