Hi, I’d like to visit Disneyland on 5/19/2023 for my honeymoon. But I saw it’s not available for ticket sale anymore. Just wondering is that because of any special event happening on that day or it has been sold out? Thanks!

    Hi ya, Susie!

Welcome to planDisney, and congratulations! I can't think of a better place to celebrate your "Happily Ever After" than Disneyland Park!

To visit the parks at the Disneyland Resort you do need a valid ticket and a park reservation, so great job checking the theme park reservation availability calendar! I will say that availability tends to change, especially as dates get closer and people need to alter their plans, so keep checking that magical date! I just checked, and it looks like your date is I hope you're able to catch it quickly! There are no special events scheduled at Disneyland Park that day (although there is Grad Nite over at Disney California Adventure Park) so it's just a matter of finding open park reservations at the "opportune moment" as Captain Jack Sparrow would say!

Make sure you stop by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. for complimentary buttons to commemorate your day! A lovely meal is a great way to celebrate, but if you can't get a reservation this close to your visit I highly recommend downloading the Disneyland Mobile App and checking out the Mobile Dine Walk-Up feature to see if there's some availability. There are some lovely souvenirs for newlyweds too, like wedding Mickey and Minnie Ears at the Mad Hatter or personalized keepsakes from Crystal Arts or Plaza Point!

One of my favorite parts of the Disney100 Celebration is complimentary Disney PhotoPass downloads of attraction photos! Make sure you take a second as you exit attractions like Space Mountain to take a picture of the code on your ride photos so you can link it in the mobile app. If you purchase Disney Genie+ you'll be able to download any pictures from Disney PhotoPass Photographers, which would be an awesome way to remember your day together!

To end your magical honeymoon day, I recommend taking a cruise on the Storybook Land Canal Boats. This sweet little attraction is so romantic and beautiful, it's the perfect way to start your own fairytale.

I hope you're able to make your park reservations and enjoy your honeymoon in the parks, Susie! Sending you all my pixie dust for a truly unforgettable day!

    Keep moving forward!
