I'd like to view Disney World fireworks with my extended family, including a 5 and a 7-year old, but don't want to be in a park. I've done the shore of Grand Floridian before, but it's not kid-friendly. What are some good options?

    Hi Veronique,

Have you tried the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort?  That's one of my favorite places from which to watch the fireworks above Cinderella Castle.  I simply stroll on in to Captain Cook's (the quick service restaurant at the Polynesian), purchase a delicious pineapple flavored soft ice cream treat, and then take my snack out onto the beach to watch the fireworks.  Pure heaven!  You can't beat the view, and I've never seen this viewing location crowded.

You might also want to consider booking dinner at the California Grill in Disney's Contemporary Resort.  I watched the fireworks from there and had a lovely unobstructed view.

Whichever option you choose, I hope you have a magical trip to Walt Disney World!
