    I’d like to transfer over a ticket purchased to a different person. The person that the ticket was bought for originally broke his leg and is unable to go.

    Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by, and we are so excited to answer your question and help you plan your upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort! AND...What an HONOR to be a part of your PLANNING TEAM! 

    First of all, I am so sorry your friend broke his leg and will not be able to go with your group to experience the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH! Please let him know that Mickey Mouse and his pals hope he feels better REAL SOON. 

    Now, the GREAT thing is that it is very easy for another person to use your already purchased Disneyland Theme Park Ticket. In fact, you are not even required to change the name on the ticket! When you all arrive at a Disneyland Theme Park, a Cast Member will take a picture of each person using their ticket. At that point, the ticket will be attached to the person on the picture, not to the name on the ticket. Yep...it really is that simple. Don't you just love happy endings?!

    As you know, exciting announcements are being made all of the time at the Disneyland Resort, and we don't want you to miss a thing. That is why I highly recommend you follow Disneyland on all of its social media channels, and be sure to subscribe to The Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date Disney information.
