Hi I'd like to talk my 2 year old to cinderellas castle for a meal. Do we have to have a dining plan to attend?

    Hiya Nikole,

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your royal dining question! Dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table is truly a dream come true—my three-year-old and seven-year-old absolutely adore the experience. Sitting inside Cinderella Castle surrounded by soaring stained glass windows, being greeted by Cinderella herself—it’s like stepping straight into a fairy tale. It’s a meal fit for a princess, prince, or even a queen like yourself!

Now, let’s wave our magic wand and get to your question. You’ll be delighted to know that Cinderella’s Royal Table isn’t just reserved for Guests with a dining plan—anyone is welcome to book this regal experience. Since this is one of the most enchanting and sought-after reservations in all of Disney World, I highly recommend marking your calendar 60 days before your visit. That’s when reservations open, and they tend to disappear faster than a glass slipper at midnight!

The best part? You can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner in the castle—and trust me, every meal feels like a royal banquet. Whether you’re sipping juice from a goblet at breakfast or savoring a feast under the twinkling lights at dinner, the whole experience is sprinkled with pixie dust.

While you're in Magic Kingdom, I also encourage you to check out the Cool Kid Summer offerings for your little royal. We were just there this past weekend and had such a blast! We danced along with magical entertainment, watched Pluto take a whimsical spin on Dumbo, and even explored the Elephant Smellephants sensory play area in Storybook Circus—it’s such a delightful way to experience the magic through your little one’s eyes.

Nikole, I hope this helps you plan a day filled with magic, memories, and maybe even a royal wave or two. If you have any other questions as you plan your fairy-tale adventure, we’d be thrilled to help.

    See you real soon,

    Christina
