Hey there, hi there, Steven! Welcome to planDisney! I am so excited to see you here with such a sweet planning question. I
love surprises! Eeeek!
You are someone after my own Disney heart, Steven. I absolutely
love the
Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties, and a fireworks dessert party is a must-do on every one of my family's Walt Disney World Resort vacations. Sweet treats, champagne and the best views of the fireworks?! Sign me up! I am more than happy to get
you signed up and keep this a sweet surprise for your hubby.
To keep your Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Party (or any other
Enchanting Extra or dining reservation) listed only on your My Disney Experience account and a surprise from your husband and friends, start by changing your settings on your Family & Friends List on the My Disney Experience website or app. On the website, log in to your
My Disney Experience account, hover over the "My Disney Experience" tab and click "
My Family & Friends." Find your husband and friends on the list, click "Update" and select "Only Our Shared Plans." Now, they will only see plans and reservations that they are listed on.
When you book your reservation for your fireworks dessert party, make the reservation for the number of people in your party, but
don't link your husband or the other Guests to the reservation. They will simply be listed as "Guest" under the reservation, but Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries." Their names do not have to be listed on the reservation for them to be included. Now they won't be able to see the dessert party reservation under their plans, and your sweet secret is safe!
Steven, if I have your arrival date correct, you will be at The Most Magical Place on Earth for the very last days of
The World's Most Magical Celebration and
Disney Enchantment. Soak it all in and enjoy every magical moment! I hope your surprise goes off without a hitch!
I hope this was helpful, Steven, and I hope you all have the most magical and memorable vacation ever! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have.
Blue skies and sunshine,
Mandy
