Hey there, Rebecca, welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! A 2 week trip to Walt Disney World is the perfect way to truly experience the ins and outs of the resort! My family did a 14-day stay a few years ago and seriously considered moving in for good. But Walt Disney World doesn’t allow that — trust me, I looked into it!
Rebecca, I’m sorry that you are having trouble finding resort availability for your desired dates. Unfortunately, regularly checking for availability is usually the approach that has worked best for me in the past. But since you are looking at a lengthier stay, I suggest considering a split stay in more than one
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. A split stay is when you basically resort hop a little during your vacation. You can stay the first half of your vacation at one hotel and the remaining time of your vacation at a different one. You may find more availability when booking a split stay because you are searching for a smaller number of nights. A split stay also gives you the opportunity to experience the theming across multiple resorts. And since you are looking to stay in the
Value Resort tier, I suggest reviewing a combination of dates across multiple Value Resorts - like
Disney’s Pop Century Resort - to craft the perfect stay for you and your vacation party!
I hope this helps, Rebecca! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation,
stop back by and let me know!
You’ve got a friend in me,
