Hiya, Marla! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa is a magnificent hotel and staying just steps away from the parks simply can't be beat! I'm delighted to hear that you are looking to book a
vacation package for next year. Vacation packages offer a lot of flexibility when it comes to making payments. If you book your vacation package more than 30 days out from your arrival date, you only need to pay a deposit at the time of booking. Then, you can make payments toward your package in any amount and at any time as long as your package is paid in-full 30 days before you arrive.
Keep in mind that with your vacation package, your actual theme park eTickets will be linked to your account about four days prior to your arrival. But, you'll be able to use your vacation package confirmation number to
make theme park reservations up to 180 days in advance. I suggest making theme park reservations as soon as you are able so you can secure the parks you want to visit each day of your trip. If you will have Park Hopper tickets, you will make theme park reservations for the park you want to start at each day. Then at 1:00 p.m., you can hop to the other park.
A lot of news and announcements can be made between now and next summer. So, I suggest following the
Disney Parks Blog so you are up-to-date with all Disneyland Resort information by the time your trip rolls around next year.
I hope this helps! Happy planning!
