Hiya, Debra, and welcome to
planDisney!
I have good news for you! Upon entering Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, you shouldn’t need to show ID, unless you purchased the
California Resident Ticket Offer. If that’s the case, then you’ll need to show valid government-issued ID with an eligible ZIP code at the Main Entrance upon entering. Otherwise, if you’re entering with a
regular theme park ticket, then you won’t need to worry about showing your ID. If you did purchase the California Resident Ticket Offer, I recommend
calling a Ticketing Cast Member at (714) 781-4636 to see if they can help with changing the name on your ticket if needed.
Also, if you haven’t already added it to your ticket, I highly recommend purchasing
Disney Genie+ Service upon entering one of the theme parks -- it’s my favorite handy helper! Disney Genie+ includes faster access to attractions in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, in addition to unlimited downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos. You can add Disney Genie+ as soon as you enter either theme park by using your
Disneyland app.
I hope this information helps, Debra! Please stop by with any additional planning questions… we’re all EARs!
See ya’ real soon,
Kristin
