What ID is required to buy an alcoholic drink? Is passport acceptable

Welcome to planDisney Susan! You stopped by with your question about your form of ID. I can help you make sure not only that you have the proper identification, but that you know where to find a proper libation.

While visiting the Walt Disney World Resort I always make sure we have some things to look forward to as a family and as adults as well. Sometimes it is the latest and greatest snack option, or it could be the night my wife and have a date night and want to try the newest adult cocktail Disney is offering. We visited Oga's Cantina a local Batuuan watering hole. The only thing you need to get an alcoholic beverage here is to bring a valid photo ID stating you are over the age of 21 years. And a passport is acceptable. When you visit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios not only are you participating in intergalactic travel but you should make sure you know to avoid receiving any unwanted attention from First Order Stormtroopers.

I recently visited EPCOT with my son and embarked on a journey across 11 countries around World Showcase to collect Kidcot country cards. I also have traversed those same pathways to enjoy an alcoholic beverage across parts of World Showcase covering them all in 2 days' time. This is definitely a feat most adult Disney fans would like to accomplish and I surely recommend it as an unofficial activity. I also recommend doing it over two days so you can ensure to enjoy it responsibly.

I hope this information helps you find the small corners of the world and galaxies far far away where you can use that passport to enjoy what Disney has to offer adults on vacation at "The Most Magical Place on Earth." Please stop back anytime to ask for more planning advice or tips for making your stay a little more magical.

    See ya real soon,
