Welcome back to planDisney, Martin!
Thank you for stopping by once again with another great question. We are thrilled to continue to help you plan magical memories for your upcoming holiday at
The Most Magical Place on Earth.
The minimum legal drinking age in the United States is 21 years, so to purchase alcoholic beverages at the Walt Disney World Resort, you must
present accepted forms of identification that include your original passport or a copy of your passport and a government-issued photo ID. Cast Members must be able to verify the name and birth date shown on the copy of your passport.
You can show your passport (or a copy of your passport) with your driving license or your passport with a photo ID card. Driving licenses and photo ID cards are not acceptable on their own as valid identification. As an international Guest myself, I always bring a notarized copy of my passport and my ID card. I prefer to bring a notarized copy, but a regular photocopy is fine. My husband usually keeps a PDF copy of his passport on his mobile phone and shows it along with his photo ID card. As for your provisional driving license, I believe you should be fine but bring your photo ID card as well, just in case.
I hope this information is helpful, Martin. Come back to visit us real soon with more questions, and keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for news and updates on the Walt Disney World Resort!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
