Hi there, Violeta. Welcome to planDisney.
I’m sorry to hear you’re having difficulty making theme park reservations for your upcoming trip. When the Disneyland Resort theme parks reopened in late April after an extended closure due to the pandemic, Guests are required to have valid park admission as well as a
theme park reservation for each day they plan to visit. Although you are able to purchase tickets at a Main Entrance ticket booth, you will still be required to link them to your Disney account and make valid theme park reservations for the day you visit.
Theme park reservation availability can fluctuate as other Guests cancel or modify their vacation plans. Because Guests are supposed to cancel their theme park reservations by 11:59 PM the day prior to the visit, many people (including my family) have been lucky and able to find last-minute theme park reservations late at night or early in the morning on the day of visit. Since it looks like you’ll be traveling from Texas, it would really be a bummer for you and your daughter to be turned away at the Main Entrance turnstile if you don’t have theme park reservations on the day you plan to visit. Now that you’ve received clearance from your doctor, the safest bet is to look ahead into early 2022 when there are still plenty of available theme park reservations and plan your family vacation around those dates.
If you have more trip-planning questions, please feel free to
write us again. I sincerely hope you’ll be able to visit the Happiest Place on Earth soon!
See ya real soon,
Kiki
