Hi there, Kyle, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Sending lots of warm thoughts to you in Wisconsin from here in sunny Florida. I bet you're looking forward to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
The collective cheer you heard at the beginning of the year was the entire state of Florida celebrating the return of the
Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket offer. It's a great deal for Floridians to enjoy three or four days at Walt Disney World, and I'm so glad Disney brought it back again for 2019. So let's get your parents in on this incredible offer!
Guests can purchase 3-Day or 4-Day Discover Disney Tickets now through June 27, 2019, and the tickets must be used by June 30, 2019. Now here's the really great news for you! Once you buy the tickets and link them to a
My Disney Experience account, you can indeed schedule FastPass+ attractions before actually picking up the tickets. If you're staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can make your FastPass+ selections up to 60 days in advance, or up to 30 days in advance if you're staying offsite. Your parents will just need to show
proof of Florida residency at any Walt Disney World Guest Relations location before using the tickets. Easy as flying with Dumbo!
If you do hit any snags in the process, give a quick
call to Guest Relations. They'll be happy to step you through linking your tickets and scheduling those FastPass+ reservations.
I hope this helps your parents enjoy some magical, fun-filled Disney days, Kyle. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
