Your question flew in at the perfect time! I took care of this myself yesterday for my own upcoming stay. Like you, I prefer to have my hotel stay paid in full ahead of time so I can arrive, check in, and head straight to the magic waiting at the Disneyland Resort!
You are correct that there isn't currently an online option to make an additional payment toward your hotel reservation. Instead, you'll need to give a Disneyland Cast Member a call.
Once connected, the Cast Member will confirm your reservation details and process a payment using the card on file or update it to a different one if needed. Be sure to have your reservation number handy, as that was the first thing they asked me for. For the quickest route, call (714) 956-6425 and follow the prompts to modify an existing reservation.

Halloween Time!
Be sure to stop by and visit the Pumpkin King himself at
Haunted Mansion Holiday in Disneyland Park. Another must-do on my list is Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween in Disney California Adventure Park. The music changes with each ride, so listen closely while you're waiting for your spin. The songs are super cute!
You also happen to be arriving on a night when Disney California Adventure transforms into a giant trick-or-treat adventure during
Oogie Boogie Bash! If you haven't considered attending, I'd highly recommend it. I checked, and you're in spooktacular luck because tickets are still available! And if you've already secured yours, get ready for a frightfully fun evening filled with treats, characters, and tons of Halloween magic.
One tip from experience: bring a larger treat bag! The complimentary one is great to start with, but it can fill up rather quickly! The
Treat Trails are incredibly generous, and you'll leave with lots of delicious goodies!
