I'd like to plan a Disney cruise for my family and I need some help. Do you have a free travel agent for this?

    Ahoy, Melissa!

Welcome to planDisney!  Our family has made many magical memories at sea with Disney Cruise Line, and I'm excited to hear that you're starting to plan a vacation for your family to enjoy as well!

Melissa, when you start your planning journey, it can feel a bit overwhelming.  Disney Cruise Line has expanded its fleet and itineraries in recent years, so you have more choices than ever for your vacation.  I always suggest starting by reviewing the various ships in the Disney fleet and the upcoming itineraries.  In case you missed it, Disney Cruise Line just recently shared itineraries through next summer, so now is the perfect time to start planning your cruise!  You can also filter a cruise search by departure port and/or preferred travel month.  Whether you want to bask in the Bahamian sunshine at Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, explore the history and culture of Europe, or set sail on an Alaskan adventure, the possibilities are endless. . .and that's just a small sampling of itineraries you can experience!  Once you have selected your cruise, you can make reservations online or by calling Disney Cruise Line for assistance from a Cast Member.

If you're looking for more personalized assistance from a travel agent, I would recommend searching online for an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.  Travel agencies and agents carrying this recognition have specialized training to help Guests plan a Disney vacation that is practically perfect in every way.  And, the best part is that their services are completely free!

Don't forget that you've got a friend in us here at planDisney, too!  While we can't make reservations on your behalf, we are real Guests who love sharing our real Disney vacation experiences.  I actually first discovered planDisney long before I was a panelist when I was looking for help planning my very first cruise.  If you're looking for recommendations or have questions throughout the planning process, we're always happy to go to infinity and beyond to help - whether you choose to manage your reservation yourself or work with a travel agent.  Don't forget that in addition to asking us questions, you can browse thousands of questions that we've already answered.  I found this especially helpful when I was planning my first cruise, as I didn't even know what I needed to ask!  We also have a planDisney Podcast episode with Disney Cruise Line first-timer tips that you may find helpful.

I hope this information has been helpful, Melissa, and that you find that perfect Disney Cruise Line vacation for your family!  Take care, and please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    SEA ya real soon!
