Hi Jennifer,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking a great question about two of my favourite subjects: food and fireworks!
I've had the chance to see almost every Magic Kingdom Park nighttime spectacular from inside the Park and from the
California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Before you say anything, I know... I'm hopelessly spoiled!
I can confirm that, on nights when Magic Kingdom Park is hosting
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you will be able to see the Party's nighttime spectacular, Happy HalloWishes, from the observation deck at the California Grill. If you don't have a Party ticket, then this would be a great alternative to still be able to get your Magic Kingdom fireworks fix that night.
Although my favourite view of all of Magic Kingdom Park's fabulous nighttime shows is unquestionably the one that I get when I'm standing on Main Street U.S.A., seeing the fireworks from the California Grill is a close second. It's kind of neat to see the fireworks from 15 floors up, plus you still get to enjoy the show's music because it is played in the restaurant and on the observation deck. It's a (slightly) different show, but still lots of fun.
I hope I've helped you with your vacation plans for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Please don't hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
