Hiya Agatha,
Welcome to planDisney! If you have a question about
Disney Gift Cards, you have come to the right place! They are so versatile because you can use them for pretty much every aspect of your trip. Need to buy a churro? Take out your Disney Gift Card! What about buying a pair of Minnie Ears? Yup, swipe your Disney Gift Card!
You get the point, Agatha. A Disney Gift Card is a perfect accompaniment for a Disneyland Resort vacation. Unfortunately, you cannot use more than one Disney Gift Card to purchase your
Theme Park tickets in the same transaction. So let’s say your Theme Park ticket total comes to $600; you cannot input 1-$500 and 2-$50 Disney Gift Cards to pay for your transaction. Once you enter the Disney Gift Card details for the first card on the checkout screen, you will be prompted to pay the remaining balance using a debit/credit card. If you want to avoid paying for your Theme Park tickets with a debit/credit card, your first step should be combining your Disney Gift Cards! A single Disney Gift Card can store up to $ 1,000, perfect for purchasing Theme Park tickets. To combine your cards, visit the Disney Gift Card website, log onto the site using your Disney account information, input each card number, select one card as your “main card,” and transfer the other card balances (up to $1,000) to the card you selected. Then, just use that card to purchase your Theme Park tickets.
I hope this was helpful, Agatha. Before I let you go, I have one last tip for you. If you plan to use a Disney Gift Card for
mobile ordering while at the Happiest Place on Earth, write down your Disney Gift Card number in your mobile device notes. You can’t save the Disney Gift Cards as a payment method for mobile orders, but you can copy and paste the Disney Gift Card number from your notes. It is a huge time saver! Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
