I'd like to have a paper ticket for our daughters "first visit's" scrapbook. Can I have the ticket sent to me via mail then add Maxpass?

    Hi there, Jessica!

It’s great to hEAR from you again. I bet you are getting excited to share the magic of the Disneyland Resort with your daughter. I’m sure it will be an unforgettable vacation. Of course, with the included downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos when you add Disney MaxPass to your theme park tickets, you’ll have a record of those vacation memories to keep forever.

I really like the convenience of storing and using my theme park tickets electronically. But I’m also sentimental about keeping tangible mementos of special experiences, such as my growing collection of Disneyland Resort tickets. Fortunately, we can have it both ways! That’s because when you order and receive your theme park tickets as Disney eTickets, you will still get physical tickets printed for you when you redeem your eTickets at the park entrance.

When you purchase theme park tickets from the Disneyland Resort website, you may request to have tickets shipped to you for a fee. This is available even for tickets that come with MaxPass added on already. For convenience and to avoid the risk of losing a delivery in the mail, I would still recommend choosing the Disney eTicket delivery method. The physical ticket you will receive at the park entrance will make a fantastic addition to your daughter’s scrapbook.

Tony’s Tip: You may choose to use the physical ticket you get when redeeming a Disney eTicket. Or you may simply use it as a backup for unexpected technical difficulties or low battery issues with your mobile device. With MaxPass added to my ticket, I often use the Disneyland app to make Disney FASTPASS selections, but I may still use my physical ticket to redeem a FASTPASS when arriving at an attraction. I might be in the middle of perusing a restaurant menu in the Disneyland app or sharing trivia questions from the Play Disney Parks app as we are approaching the attraction. So using my physical ticket is a way to avoid switching back and forth between screens on my mobile device. Other times, it simply helps me save battery life.

I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Jessica. Don’t forget to ask a Cast Member at Guest Relations for a complimentary “1st Visit” button to commemorate the occasion for your daughter.
