Celebrations at the Disneyland Resort are extra magical! My family has used time in the parks to commemorate everything from milestone birthdays to new jobs to time together with extended family and friends. There is just something special about experiencing a day together at the Happiest Place on Earth!
I have ordered a
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake more times than I'd like to admit—I find them to be delicious and adorable all at the same time, and the perfect way to cap off a special occasion. Currently, Celebration Cakes are offered with your reservation at
Blue Bayou,
Café Orléans,
Lamplight Lounge,
River Belle Terrace, and
Wine Country Trattoria. So while it's not character dining, these are typically offered at table service restaurants throughout the resort.
There are a few ways to order a Celebration Cake. Personally, I think the easiest way is to add it to your reservation at the time of booking. When you go to
make a reservation at any of the above restaurants on the website or in the mobile app, adding a cake will pop up as an option as you go through the booking flow. You will get to choose the flavor - dark chocolate or white chocolate - along with the celebratory messaging - Congratulations or Happy Birthday. It's recommended that you add a Celebration Cake to your reservation at the time of booking, at least 3 days ahead of time, so we are very close to that window as we speak! If ordering ahead of time is not an option for you, you can also order in person at the host podium. I'd recommend heading to the restaurant as soon as it opens for the day to secure your cake, as each dining location only has a limited number available for same-day requests.

You can find these at City Hall at Disneyland or the Chamber of Commerce at California Adventure, in addition to most merchandise locations.
