I'd love to try Tonga Toast at Captain Cook's, but don't know how early I could make it to Polynesian. How late do they serve this well known food?

Aloha, Mary! I'm so excited that you brought us this question because I love talking about the delicious, cinnamon-y, banana filled Tonga Toast. I will be staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort tomorrow night and the Tonga Toast is something that I am looking forward to.

Currently you can purchase Tonga Toast at two locations inside of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. There are a few differences in the accompaniments in both locations so I will break it down for you. At Kona Cafe the Tonga Toast is served with strawberry compote and a choice of ham, bacon, or sausage. It also comes with a slice of fresh pineapple. At Captain Cook's the Tonga Toast comes with a choice of bacon or sausage and no strawberry compote. Captain Cook's is a Quick-Service food location so you will order and find a seat, whereas Kona Cafe is a Table-Service Restaurant so you will have a server. Right now the Tonga Toast at Captain Cook's is listed at $5.19 and over at Kona Cafe it is listed as $12.99. As always, prices are subject to change. Kona Cafe breakfast starts at 7:30am and runs until 11:15am, while Captain Cook's breakfast is from 6:30am to 11:00am.

I hope this helps, and if you need anything else, please let us know! Have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
