I'd love to try the grey stuff/gray stuff ... I hear it's delicious :-) Can I get that anywhere at Disneyland or California Adventure? Also wondering if you can still get the Fantasia flavored ice cream?

As they say in Belle's town (it's a quiet village), bonjour! Welcome to planDisney, Janeen. As someone who has frequented the tavern where you can find this tasty treat, I am thrilled to help with your question.

The secret is out and the dishes are talking. You can find the Grey Stuff (it really is delicious) at the Red Rose Taverne in Fantasyland in Disneyland Park. For an added fun tip, you can use the mobile food and beverage ordering feature in the Disneyland app to please your taste buds even faster. In fact, I just took a peek in the app and noticed that there currently is a seasonal "Green Stuff" offering in lieu of the Grey Stuff right now. Not confirmed or official, but I have a feeling this may be for St. Patrick's Day as this seasonal treat made an appearance around this time last year. However, fear not. With your visit in the summer, let's hope the Grey Stuff returns. You can always check the Disneyland app to see what's being offered by tapping on the location icon at the bottom of the screen (to the right of the home icon). You will then select "Dining" from the menu at the top, then "Show List" and scroll down to "Red Rose Taverne" to view the menu.

Now let's talk about this Fantasia flavor of ice cream. I personally haven't tried it myself, but you've intrigued me and I'll now be on the lookout. It appears that this particular ice cream flavor is seasonal. According to my research, it even made an appearance disguised as the Uni-Cone last year. History tells us that if it makes another seasonal appearance this year, it will be found at the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street, U.S.A. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates on Disney Eats Foodie Guides as they are released throughout the year. This will be where you'll find the latest and greatest news on seasonal food offerings. You can also check the menu offerings just before your visit.

Janeen, hopefully, I've shared some helpful information that you can use as you continue to plan your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. It's an especially magical time to visit with the Disney100 Celebration in full swing. The parks are decorated in their platinum and purple best and there are festive eats to enjoy as well. One of my favorites was the Lemon Chiffon Pie.

If you find you have other questions, please come back and see us - even ask me directly. Until then, I wish you happy planning and a most magical visit to the Disneyland Resort.
