Hey Lorna! Welcome back to planDisney! We're so excited to help you with your upcoming trip. It's almost here! I hope you're feeling as excited as we are because soon you'll be enjoying the Most Magical Place on Earth with your family and friends. I can't wait to hear all about your adventures!
Let's chat a bit about the
Disability Access Service (DAS) and the new
Lightning Lane passes. I totally get that you want your whole group to ride your favorite attractions together—who wouldn't? But since these two services work differently, matching your selected attractions will be tricky.
With the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, your family can plan ahead and choose up to three experiences. If they are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can book up to seven days in advance; if you're staying elsewhere, it's three days in advance. With DAS, you'll be able to book attractions after you enter the park, and the return time will match the current standby wait. Just a heads-up—you can only hold one active DAS return time at a time.
Now, here's the thing: one of the coolest things about the new Lightning Lane passes is how flexible they are! You can change your plans on the go, even while you're in the park. So your family can check the
My Disney Experience app throughout the day for attraction availability and, this way, coordinate with your DAS benefit and make the most of your time together.
I hope this helps clear things up, Lorna! If you have any other questions or just want to chat more about your plans,
don't hesitate to reach out. We're always here to help our amazing friends like you!
Cheers,
Nilson
