I'd be lost without all of you planning this first visit, so thank u, thank u! . I'm making our dinner rsrvs but I'm worried about missing night time fireworks parades etc. Can you give me a rough idea of what time the parks have them? 8/22-8/29/2010

    Hi Jocelyn,

It's great to hear from a fellow Rhode Islander!  It's so much fun helping you plan the best vacation possible; hopefully this will be the first of many trips to Walt Disney World.

It looks like most of the nighttime shows will begin at about 9:00 PM in the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.  On nights when Fantasmic! is shown, that will start at 8:30 PM.

If you want to find this information yourself simply follow these steps on the disneyworld.com website:
    1. Select the PARKS drop down menu in the upper left hand corner of the page.
    2. Choose the theme park of your choice
    3. Click on Calendar - located in the menu on the left of the page
    4. Select the month you'll be visiting the park using the tool bar in the upper right of the calendar
    5. Click on a specific date to be shown a daily entertainment schedule.
Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
