How ya doin' Sarah and welcome to planDisney!
I've got a soft spot in my heart for magical mamas that make dreams come true. Your son is so lucky to have you working to make his first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort so special. I'm happy to help you bibbidi bobbidi do it!
Jack Skellington is traditionally his busiest in the week of Halloween. Since
Magic Kingdom Park is the epicenter of all things magical at The Most Magical Place on Earth, it's usually the first place to see the holiday switch with the rest of the Christmas magic trickling out to other parks and resorts in the days following. While we don't have dates for the event for next year yet, based on tradition, I'd recommend snagging a ticket for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for October 31st and a
Theme Park Ticket for Magic Kingdom Park for November 1st. Once you've attended that swinging wake full of happy haunts on All Hallow's Eve and gone to bed to rest in peace, you'll wake up and see that Magic Kingdom Park has hauled out the holly to start celebrating Christmas.
Pro-tip: To see what else can be expected during your visit, keep an eye on
Disney Parks Blog in the months leading up to your arrival date. They'll keep you up to date with Halloween tips and tricks, Foodie Guides and dates for both holidays, and so much more!
Sarah, I hope you and your son have the holly jolliest, spooky kookiest time on his first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other questions please feel free to come back for another chat with a planDisney panelist!
Happy planning!
