Greetings, Caterina. Thanks for bringing your important question to planDisney!
The
Disneyland Resort has a Sensory Experience Details Guide that may help determine which rides and attractions someone with epilepsy may enjoy safely. It can be found under the
Accessibility at the Disneyland Resort portion of the main website, by clicking the
Sensory Experience Details tab. I have also linked it
here for your convenience. It has a table that lists individual attractions by location (Fantasyland, Adventureland, etc.) and identifies which have lighting effects, loud noises, scents/smells, and more. Some of the attractions with lighting effects surprised me, like the Disneyland Railroad, the Adventureland Treehouse, and certain parade performances. Hopefully, this guide has the information you need!
Caterina, there is also a way to search rides with a Health Advisory in the Disneyland Mobile App. In the app, navigate to the resort map by clicking the pin drop icon, which is second to the left at the bottom of the home page. From there, select "Filter" in the top left and this will open various filter options, like thrill factor, physical considerations, and more. Under "Physical Considerations," you can select "Health Advisory" to show which rides should be given extra precaution. I like this option, as it can be used on the go!
If you need additional information during your visit, I recommend visiting Guest Relations in either park. The Cast Members are super knowledgeable and should be able to assist with any questions!
I hope this information helps, Caterina. If you have more questions before your visit, please don't hesitate to
reach out again. We want you to have a most magical visit to The Happiest Place on Earth. Thanks for stopping by!
See ya real soon,
Melissa
