Hi, I'd like to know iif there is transportation from a Disney resort to Port Canaveral and what is the cost? Thanks!

    Hi, Claudia!

Why yes there is! Ground Transfers are available for purchase to Disney Cruise Line (DCL) guests who make independent air arrangements. To add transfers to your cruise package, call (800) 951-3532 at least 75 days prior to your vacation, and be prepared to provide your inbound and outbound flight details. It costs about $70 per person, round trip (to/from airport or resort), and all the luggage handling makes it an extra nice amenity.

If you have more than just a few people in your traveling party (especially coming out of the same budget), my family and I have found it more cost efficient and convenient to hire a private driver. Plus, you get to decide when and where you are picked up for the ultimate in flexibility. There are plenty of reputable companies in the Orlando area, or you can write back for my recommendations.

To assist you in planning and to provide ample time for travel logistics, DCL recommends the following flight time guidelines:

    • Latest Orlando International Airport Flight Arrival on Embarkation Day — 1:45 p.m.
    • Earliest Flight Departure from the Orlando International Airport on Debarkation Day — 12:30 p.m.
I hope this provides you with the information you needed to properly plan your family's Disney cruise. If there's anything else I can do to help you along before you sail, you know that I'm only a click away!

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation! Bon voyage!
