Hi there, Dayane! Welcome back to planDisney. I love that you’ve already gotten right down to planning your park visits for the year. Once the “-ber” months arrive, that is always my favorite time to visit! I’d love to walk you through the calendar to help ensure you have the merriest time.
Last year, I actually visited the parks on Halloween night and returned the following day. It was so much fun spending the evening trick or treating at
Oogie Boogie Bash with my son and husband. On that particular night, I noticed that the shops were already putting out their Christmas merchandise. It was funny to be purchasing holiday sweaters while dressed as Rust-eze Bumper Ointment from Cars.
When I returned the following day, I noticed that even overnight most of the Halloween merchandise I had seen the night before had slowly vanished, and it was Christmas galore in the shops. Walking down Main Street, U.S.A., I even noticed that there were already snow-capped turrets on Sleeping Beauty Castle. It always amazes me how the Holiday Services team subtly transforms the parks into a winter wonderland.
While you won’t quite be visiting during the
official kickoff of the holidays on November 18th, you’ll still be able to spot nods to Christmas here and there as you make your way throughout the parks. Not to mention, your arrival window will put you right in the middle of
Haunted Mansion Holiday! This holiday overlay gives a beloved classic attraction a hauntingly spooky twist with Jack Skellington and his friends.
Dayane, thank you so much for visiting planDisney. I cannot wait for you to experience the parks during the merriest and spookiest time of year. You can stay updated by following
Disneyland on Instagram and visiting
