Hi Isabel!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love that you're already thinking ahead for the summer, and all of the Disney fun that can be had by your
teenage Mouseketeer.
Disney has a variety of
Youth Programs that are geared for school age groups, from the
performing arts,
sports competitions, to an
education series that is actually making me kind of jealous. (Workshops that cover everything from the culinary arts to STEM science courses to marketing to Imagineering; where is a time machine when you need one?)
While these programs are lead and taught by Disney Cast Members, Disney is the facility where these programs are held and does not actually organize these courses into full day or week-long camps. Since you're local to Florida, I'm sure that there are groups in your area such as scout troupes,
sporting teams, schools or even local churches who do organize summer camp-like trips to Walt Disney World Resort to take part in these workshops.
Or, another idea. Most of Disney's available youth programs only require a minimum of 10 participants to be able to book a session, so you and the parents of at least nine others could
create your own super summer full of Disney magic.
I do hope that this helped, Isabel, and We'll See You Real Soon!
~Kristen
