I’d like to know more about accessibility for disabled people

Greetings, Christina, and welcome to planDisney!

After completing 50+ Disney Destinations vacations with my special needs son from infancy to adulthood, I can say with the utmost sincerity and confidence, that the Disney Parks, in my opinion, set the standard of excellence for the levels of consideration, inclusion, and accommodation for special needs Guests!

Christina, as I will not presume to know of which special needs accommodation you are inquiring of, I will afford you the opportunity to select which service may be applicable to you.

May I begin with the significance of contacting our Disability Services Team by telephone at: (407) 560-2547, or via email correspondence at: disability.services@disneyparks.com with any inquiry you may have.

Walt Disney World Resort recognizes the vast array of special needs by offering various Services for Guests with Disabilities to encompass:
    - First Aid accommodation, Video Visits, and Urgent Care options presented by AdventHealth,
    - Cognitive needs information and guides,
    - Hearing and Visual needs services and guides,
    - Companion Restroom accommodation information,
    - Accommodations for Guests with mobility needs, to name a few.

Christina, consider planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation to include your Resort hotel, with an accessible Guest Room, Theme Park tickets, and the handy Quick-Service Dining Cards. Such a vacation will bring your convenience to the highest level, with ultimate immersion in unique Disney magic during your stay.

Once you book your vacation including Theme Park tickets, Christina, please make Disney Park Pass reservations and include the Disney Genie+ service during ticket selection, to optimize your touring. As well, please refer to our Disability Access Service thoroughly, to see if this accommodation is something you wish to explore further, through DAS Advance Planning from home, or at the beginning of your vacation by visiting Guest Relations inside any Disney Theme Park (with all in your travel party, including the Guest needing the accommodation).

We hope this information will be helpful to you, Christina.

    Best Disney Wishes ~ Jacqueline
