Hi there, Annie. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking the time to stop by with your questions for us.
There are several
Character Dining options available at the Disneyland Resort hotels.
Goofy’s Kitchen is located in the Disneyland Hotel that serves up fun-filled breakfast and dinner. The
Storyteller Café within Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has Mickey’s Tale of Adventures serving breakfast and brunch; meanwhile, at night you can also enjoy Donald’s Tales of Adventure Dinner Buffet. Another Character Dining option at the Grand Californian Hotel is the very popular
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures. It’s typically located at Napa Rose, but since it is temporarily closed for refurbishment, Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is being held in the Trillium Room.
Annie, I’m happy to report that you do not need to be a Guest staying at the hotel for you to enjoy Character Dining at one of the restaurants. Because these fun, exciting dining experiences are very popular, it is highly recommended to
make advance dining reservation.
As for recommendations, it depends on which Disney characters you’re interested in interacting with. No matter which character dining option you choose, it will be an immersive and fun experience. If you’re a fan of Disney princesses, then Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures might just be right up your alley! Or if whimsical is your flair, then Goofy’s Kitchen is the place for you!
If you’re interested in dining with characters inside the park, check out
Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at Plaza Inn. It’s a wonderful way to start a magical day at the Disneyland Park!
