I'd like to get information about "rope drop" at WDW.

    Hello Mary Lou,
In my opinion one of the smartest strategies to implement while enjoying a magical trip at Walt Disney World Resort is to be at each Theme Park as they open or as you say, at rope drop. This savvy plan allows early-birds to get a jump-ahead of the crowds!
The simplest way to check all current Disney Theme Park opening times is via the Park Hours calendar which also lets you see which Disney Park benefits from Extra Magic Hours for Guesting staying on Walt Disney World Resort property.
Let the Magic Begin is the welcome show at Magic Kingdom Park; this practically perfect opening ceremony takes place each day in front of Cinderella Castle just prior to park opening.  Guests are able to enter Main Street, U.S.A  up to 1 hour before the official park opening time and can spend time meandering the many shops or perhaps indulge in something delicious for breakfast from the Main Street Bakery. Plus be sure to check out these New Breakfast Offerings Coming to Magic Kingdom Park
If I can help sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort please pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
