Hi there, Robert!
Thanks for swinging by planDisney with your question. Since
Walt Disney World Resort and softball are two of my favorite things to chat about (were you glued to the Clearwater Invitational earlier this month like I was?), let's get right to your question!
If your team requires 10 or more
Disney Resort hotel rooms, you will be eligible to reserve your stay at a group rate. You can begin the reservation process by contacting the
Group Reservations line where a friendly Cast Member will be happy to assist. If your team does not meet the minimum room requirement, I suggest checking out the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page to check for any applicable promotions. Promotions for your projected dates will likely not be released until much later this year, but checking the current promotions can give you an idea of what you might be able to expect next spring. To take advantage of the special offers you will need to wait until they are announced for your dates, but you could go ahead and reserve your rooms (
it was just announced that 2025 reservations open February 27) to secure your spot and edit the reservation to apply your desired offer once they are revealed.
High school groups often enjoy utilizing
Disney Value Resort hotels for the amenities offered at their affordable price points.
Disney's All-Star Music Resort and
Disney's Art of Animation Resort feature family suites that sleep up to 6 and include 2 full bathrooms and a kitchenette. Art of Animation and
Disney's Pop Century Resort offer the added bonus of proximity to the
Disney Skyliner as an efficient transportation option to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. If you're looking to immerse your team in athletics, you'll love the theming of
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort.
Growing up, my family loved having the option to catch an Atlanta Braves Spring Training game during our magical vacations. Although the Braves have since relocated, the Tampa Bay Rays opened up their 2023 training at the
ESPN Wide World of Sports complex, so I encourage you to check the
Upcoming Events Calendar as your dates approach to see if any events of interest will take place during your visit.
I hope this was helpful, Robert, and that your team is able to steal a bit of time in Walt Disney World theme parks during your visit. I'm sure the team is already counting down the days, and before you know it you'll be going-going-gone! If you have any additional questions as you are planning, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to assist!
Hakuna matata,
Lizzie
