    I'd like to take my granddaughter for her 6th birthday to Disneyland in Anaheim in August, there will be around 14 people in all 5 of them will be coming from WA State, those coming from out of state will they be able to enter the park?

    I’m happy to see that you are already planning for this very special celebration. Please wish your granddaughter a very “Happy Birthday” from all of us at planDisney! I just love celebrating my birthday in the parks. In fact, I’ll be celebrating my own this week at Walt Disney World Resort.

    As you probably have heard, Disneyland Resort theme parks will reopen on April 30, 2021. New ticket sales are temporarily paused at this time. And to comply with current guidance from the State of California, for the time being, only California residents are allowed to enjoy the theme parks during the initial phased reopening.

    I’m sure with the reopening date being a few short weeks away, we will hear more information about “what to do next”, very soon. Along with following the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news, I also recommend following the Disney Parks on social media, as well as, the Disneyland Resort official website. That’s where we will hear about the return of ticket sales, and hopefully soon the ability for out-of-state visitors to return too!
