    I'd like to gradually pay for our trip, planned for Dec 22-28th, 2013. Should I just book the resort (Pop) now, then add park admission and dining plan, closer to the 6 month mark? Deposit fee? Internet or phone for reservation?

    Hi Amy, 

    Planning ahead and budgeting are two great ways to ensure you have a magical (and stress free) Walt Disney World Resort Vacation.  I have many friends who have booked a Room-Only Resort Reservation and gradually add-on other extras like Magic Your Way Base Tickets and the Disney Dining Plan. In order to do this, you will be required to pay for one night of your Resort stay as a deposit.  

    Another option for you would be to book your entire Walt Disney World Vacation Package and make payments toward your vacation as you would like.  You can make payments toward your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package either online or by phone as well.  Personally, I like to book my vacations this way.  For this option, a $200.00 deposit is required, and full payment must be received 45 days prior to your vacation.  Your reservation clearly states when your balance remaining is due.  

    In terms of booking methods, I have always booked my Walt Disney World Resort Package online using the Walt Disney World Resort Website, but I know other people who prefer to actually talk to a Disney Agent while booking their vacation.  It is really a matter of personal comfort, and either way is perfectly fine.  To book your Walt Disney World Vacation Package please call (407) 939-7675 or to book your resort Room-Only Booking call (407) 939-7429.

    Whatever option you choose, I would book as soon as possible, as you are planning to visit during one of the busiest times of year.
