Hi Zee, and welcome to planDisney! Let's talk about what you need to bring with you to make sure your day at the
Walt Disney World theme parks is practically perfect in every way.
Because it depends on how you purchased theme park tickets, the answer to your question is
maybe. I'll explain! I see that you're lucky enough to call the Sunshine State home, and if you've purchased
Florida resident tickets, you'll need to show
identification and proof of residency at Guest Relations the first time you use your ticket to enter the theme parks. If you have a valid Florida driver's license, state-issued ID card, or Florida-based military ID, you can also verify your residency online ahead of time to bypass this step.
Another reason you might need to bring identification is if you purchased theme park tickets online and need to pick them up at Will Call; if this is the case, you'll also need to present the credit card used to make the purchase. If you purchased tickets online, but have an active
MagicBand either from an upcoming or past stay, you can bypass this step, go directly to the theme park entrance, and scan your MagicBand at the tapstiles.
Remember that during the current phase of reopening, every Guest entering the theme parks needs to zip-a-dee-do one more thing before the fun can begin: make a
Disney Park Pass reservation. Check the
Availability Calendar, and reserve your days as soon as possible if you haven't already done so.
I hope this has been helpful, Zee. Even if I don't need my ID to enter a theme park, I always make sure to pack it in my theme park bag just in case. I hope you have a great time in the Most Magical Place on Earth, and if there is anything else we can do for you before you set off on your adventure, please stop by again. You've got a friend in me!
