I dream about
Disneyland Resort food (mostly warm cinnamon sugar churros, but I digress), and I love snagging those advance dining reservations before a trip. Having my dining plans set ahead of time is the icing on the cupcake!
I’m not quite sure if you’re looking to make a
dining reservation or verify one you’ve already booked, so let’s stroll through both options together.
First, let’s talk about making a new reservation! For either of these steps, you’ll want to have the
Disneyland Mobile App downloaded. It’s your go-to planning companion before and during your visit.
There are two ways to reserve dining. From the home screen, tap the gray plus (+) sign at the bottom of the app. The first option you'll see is Check Dining Availability. Tap that, and you’ll be taken to a screen where you can select your party size, date, time preferences, and location. You can filter by theme park, the
Downtown Disney District, or one of the Disneyland Resort hotels.
Once you've added your preferences, you'll see a list of available dining locations for your visit. Pick your preferred restaurant and dining time, then follow the prompts to complete your reservation. Easy as pie!
The second method is also the place you'll go to view an existing dining reservation.
If you've already booked a reservation and want to make sure everything is set, tap the three-line menu in the bottom-right corner of the Disneyland Mobile App and scroll down until you see Future Plans. Just below that section, you'll also notice a Reserve Dining link that takes you to the same dining reservation page mentioned above.
Select Future Plans to view your upcoming dining reservations, hotel reservations, and theme park plans all in one place. If you need to make any changes, simply tap on the reservation and follow the prompts to modify or cancel it right in the app.
