Hi Amanda! Thanks so much for sending your planning question to me! I always enjoy answering Disney Dining questions and I LOVE Chef Mickey’s located at Disney's Contemporary Resort!

Guests wishing to make advanced Disney Dining reservations should make reservations 60-days prior to their vacation arrival date. You do not have to wait for 60-days prior to your preferred reservation date. Chef Mickey’s is an incredibly popular dining destination, so I (strongly) recommend making your reservation on your 60-day mark. You can begin making your Disney Dining reservations at approximately 6:00 AM on your 60-day mark, but I always log in to my account around 5:30 and begin trying!

Amanda, Chef Mickey’s is a great way to have a delicious meal, but an even better way to meet some of your favorite characters! During your meal, Mickey and his pals, one by one, will visit your table! Don’t forget to request a character autograph card prior to leaving the restaurant! Autograph cards are a great souvenir and suitable for framing or display!

Also, Chef Mickey’s is returning to buffet-style dining beginning on March 1, 2023! Until that time, Chef Mickey's is still operating as a traditional table-service character dining experience!
