What I’d the cost of a park hopper ticket and the cost of a regular park ticket? And… if we have a four day stay can just one be a park hopper and the others regular park ticket?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Ellen!

I am delighted you stopped by with another great question. It looks as if you plan on arriving real soon. Let's chat tickets so you can get back to planning that magical itinerary!

Theme park tickets at Walt Disney World Resort vary in price. A one-day park ticket starts at $119 per day, and adding the Park Hopper option starts at $207 per ticket; and prices are subject to change. Because ticket prices are based on the number of days, park choice, and add-on options, I recommended using the ticket builder feature on the Walt Disney World website. You can input your dates, number of days you wish to visit the parks, and add-ons like Park Hopper or even Park Hopper Plus. This will give you the exact cost for tickets on your travel dates.

You will also be able to see the cost difference of adding Park Hopper and determine if this is the right add-on for your crew. I am personally a huge fan of this option. I love the flexibility of starting my day off with a morning safari over at Animal Kingdom and closing the night out with Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom. The itinerary possibilities are endlessly magical. Bonus Tip: Sometimes attractions go down for a bit, and sometimes for a full day. Having Park Hopper means if you need to head back to Hollywood Studios on day two because Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance was down the day before, you have the ability to do so. This is also great if you decide this attraction should be ridden twice (it should)!

The Park Hopper option can only be added to the full ticket purchase. If you purchase a seven-day ticket, the Park Hopper option will be a part of the purchase for each day. I find it is more cost-effective to add this option to your length-of-visit ticket than to try to buy two separate ticket options. In your case, a one-day Park Hopper ticket and a three-day ticket with no Park Hopper option would traditionally not save money, and you would lose out on three park hopping days!

Ellen, I also recommend checking out the Special Offers, Deals, & Discounts page of the website before purchasing your ticket. You may find some great ways to save on your upcoming adventure!

    We'll see ya real soon!
