Hi Scarlett, welcome home and welcome to planDisney! Nighttime events like
Disney After Hours are some of my favorite times to visit the parks. With these kinds of events, we get to relax during the day at our Disney Vacation Club resort with some much needed pool time. Now let’s talk about how we can save some money on Disney After Hours events as DVC members!
Scarlett, I have some great news for you!
According to this page, eligible DVC members can receive a $30 discount per ticket to the Disney After Hours event at EPCOT. This discount is available for DVC members who are
eligible for Membership Extras.
In order to purchase the After Hours tickets with the DVC discount, you’ll need to visit
this page and select the appropriate After Hours event. After you have selected the correct event, you should see options for prices for all guests and for DVC members. If you don’t see an option for DVC members, you’ll want to make sure you’re logged into My Disney Experience (upper right corner of the website) and that your DVC membership is affiliated with your account. Once you select the option for DVC members, select the amount of tickets you would like to purchase and the date you plan to visit. As always with these types of purchases, the discount is dependent upon availability.
Here’s a bonus tip, Scarlett! For these After Hours events, you can enter EPCOT as early as 7PM! I’d recommend arriving at EPCOT at that time to take advantage of the
delicious offerings from the
International Flower & Garden Festival, followed by a viewing of
Luminous The Symphony of Us nighttime spectacular, before heading to all the low waits for the attractions during the event. Don’t forget to get all the popcorn and Mickey ice cream bars you can enjoy since they are included in the cost of your ticket!
